Move over Facebook, Google+ is looking to take your spot as the number one social network in the world. In case you haven’t heard Google+ is the new social network google has built which is getting rave reviews from the people who have experienced it first hand. One of the innovative features is Circles, which allows users to drop their contacts into categories such as work or friends. Recently Google employee Erica Joy posted on her Google+ page: “For my iPhone using friends: the Google+ iPhone app has been submitted to the App store (no not today, sometime prior to today) and is awaiting approval.” Getting accepted as an iPhone app would mean more exposure to an ever expanding base of users, as well as more publicity. The Google social network is currently on a closed, invite only test phase, but should be open to the general public very soon. Fun Fact: Mark Zuckerberg the owner of Facebook has more followers than all three of the major players at Google on their own social network. Photo Credit: kk+
