Why Email Sales Are Beating Out The Socials

RJ MONEY IN HANDA recent study has provided surprising results about the impact that social media has on converting clicks into actual sales. Instead of having the immediate impact that most business owners expect, it appears that Facebook only has a small positive conversion ratio. Unfortunately for Twitter lovers, sending out tweets about sales is the least effective social media advertising method.

Although Facebook might not provide immediate results, email advertising was proven to provide a surge of sales. In fact, customers who visited a website after clicking on an email link were 11 percent more likely to make a purchase. However, Google was proven to have the most influence on sales. During the two-year study, it was discovered that customers who find a website by searching for it on Google are 50 percent more likely to make a purchase. Additionally, these customers typically spent more money. With this in mind, it is easy to understand how important it is to take steps to improve your search engine ranking.
