Angry Birds sequel Bad Piggies starts at the top of the charts

Bad Piggies, the sequal to top selling game Angry Birds, was released today for Android and iOS and immediately flew to the number one spot for downloaded paid apps for both the Apple iPhone and the iPad. This is a huge success for game makers Rovio who knew they needed a big hit if they were to continue the success that they have enjoyed with the Angry Birds franchise. Bad Piggies gives gamers a chance to take on the birds from the pigs point of you with the object being to crack their eggs by solving a series of device building puzzles that move the pigs from destination to destination. The game has been released in both a standard version as well as an HD version for tablets like the iPad. The iPhone and iPod version sells for 99 cents whereas the HD version will set users back $2.99. Android users can download the game for free at Google Play.
