Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced the arrival of four new Amazon Kindle tablets, including three HD models and one Fire model that will retail for $159. The 7-inch HD tablet is boasting a $199 price tag and the 4G LTE-equipped model will run for $499 which is on par with the cheapest iPad. Amazon’s strategy in the tablet market seems to be pretty simple: keep prices low and undercut the competition and watch as consumers continue to download a whole lot of Amazon content such as books and movies. Each of the new models are getting very good reviews and seem to have a lot of features that people seem to like. “Even if you’re already a Kindle Fire owner, the new Fire is going to feel like a whole new device. The tablet is both thinner and lighter, has rounded edges, and feels closer to Google’s Nexus 7 (although it has a slightly larger bezel) or Samsung’s 7-inch Galaxy Tab than it does the original boxy model,” writes Emily Price of Mashable.Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos announced the arrival of four new Amazon tablets, including three HD models and one Fire model that will retail for $159.
